I have a Dell Inspiron 5150, (I know.... it's a horrible model) that has ceased to recognize that it is plugged in.
I have checked the power cord - it works when I plug other laptops into it.
I have tried other cords into mine - nothing will cause it to charge.
The battery works if I charge it in another laptop.
I have placed a working battery into my laptop, it won't charge in mine.
It seems the problem is inside my computer. I have heard there is a product you can buy to fix this - is that true? Is my laptop dead? PLEASE HELP!!!
Also, I'm not going to take my computer apart myself.
