Having an error message pop up is never fun, so I can understand why you'd be concerned and want to know next steps so you can go back to enjoying your TV like normal. While I'm sad that you're in this position, I'm glad you came to us for help
It sounds like your TV must have been set-up with "antenna" as the source, so now your unit is trying to scan for what channels you'd receive with an antenna. If you reset up the TV and choose a different source, the error should go away!
Since you don't have the remote for this TV, changing the source will be a bit harder, but you should still be able to make it work by using the buttons on the TV. If you go to page 20 in the Insignia NS39L240A13 Manual, it should talk you through the Setup Wizard for taking care of that step-by-step.
