"Channel Scan" Not Saving Channels

I have a new Insignia NS-32DF310NA19, delivered today.

Everything set up properly except channel scan.

I ran channel scan 5 times. Each time it "finds" 26 channels. I click done, and it shows "no available channels ".

I came at this from three different menu options. All with the same result.

It seems to find the channels, but does not save them.

The input is from a digital antenna which worked properly on the TV this unit replaced.

Any ideas on what I can try?

Congratulations on your new TV! It's understandable that you'd like to get full use out of it. You can find lots of helpful tips and tricks in the manual.

Here are some troubleshooting tips that may help:

  • Make sure that the antenna is securely connected to the antenna itself and the TV. Some antennas may require power, so make sure it's plugged in if yours does! You may also want to consider replacing the cable that it uses to connect to the TV.
  • Unplug the TV from the power source for a minute or so, then reconnect it.
  • Once everything is reconnected and powered on, go to the HOME screen of the TV, navigate to the INPUTS row, then select Antenna. Go to Settings > Live TV > Channel Scan
  • If things still aren't working, consider doing a Factory Reset and trying again. To perform a factory reset, press HOME, then select Settings. Select Device & Software, then select Reset to Factory Defaults.

"Rebooting" the TV (unplug, plug it in) resolved the issue. Thank you!
