I have an Insignia NS-L32Q-10A model. This morning the Input menu stopped working with my remotes, I can still change the input using the option on the TV itself, so this is an inconvenience, but not a major issue.

A friend gave me this TV when she got a new one, and I do not have the remote that came with it. I have tried two different remotes my PS3 remote, and an RCA remote: RCRN03BR she gave me with the TV. The Input button does not work with either of them. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

The only remote guaranteed to work with a TV is the one that came with it. I can't offer assistance with your third-party remote controls, but I can offer the recommendation that you call Insignia Support at (877) 467-4289 for assistance in acquiring a replacement remote control compatible with your TV.
