'no signal' when connected to a composit/hdmi cord on new tv NS-19E310NA15

We just got home from purchasing our new tv to hook our security cameras into and take up less space. Unfortunately all we are getting is a 'no signal' response and the suggestion to press input and select our device. the only problem? We already did. We have double checked twice with our old television that the cable is not the problem and have the cable hooked into the correct areas on the chart that came with the tv. Is there something else we are supposed to do?

Are you connecting the cameras to the TV using a Red/White/Yellow RCA cord, a screw on coax cord, or a rectangular shaped HDMI cord? Where the cord connects to the TV, it should have a label there. When you pull up the input list,

are any of the options on that list selectable?
