I have an insignia bluray player.  It plays almost every dvd, but recently will not play a set of dvds that were purchased from PBS.  These dvds will play on another player in another room. The player has connection to Netflix etc, and that works flawlessly.  I read that it may need up date to firmward, and can connect to that on the tv, but get error code 2007 .  Please advise.  Thanks karlene

I checked this player, wow, its been around for a decade. Their is not a whole lot you can do to configure it to play the dvds because the compatibility is unique and their is not even a firmware update available. But it works on other dvds so keep it running otherwise consider an upgrade. Have a good day!

Welcome to our community. 

Blu-ray players may require periodic updates in order to properly display newer releases. With apologies, this player is no longer eligible for firmware updates.

DVDs should play without issue, however, but Blu-ray discs released after this player's final update may not. As Andrew pointed out, you may ultimately need to replace this player for full compatibility with current Blu-ray encryption.
