tv has no red light on bottom right and will not power on via normal methods.  it will power on if using the reset button but does lose all stored data and is quite anoying any thoughts or ideas

Welcome to our community. Having to reset the television every time you turn it on must be a pain.

The first thing we'll want to try is unplugging the television for about 10 minutes, and then plugging it back in to a different outlet, if possible. Please give that a try and see if it helps.

If it doesn't, please let me know about how long you've owned the television. I'll check to see what options we have to help out.
