igsignia smart tv sound

When my TV was first set up there were no issues  at all.  Now after about a month when I stream Netflix or anything the peoples mouths move but not at the same time as the actual dialogue.  Any suggestions.  this used to happen with my TV upstairs but seems to come and go.  I am not  computer literate but it seems to happen when windows 10 updates.

Thanks so much for joining us and reaching out with that question.Audio de-sync always bugs me. I'd hate to have that happen on my television.

 

You mentioned that this happens when Windows 10 updates. Are you using the built-in app on your television to watch Netflix, or are you using the television to display from your computer?

I use the app on the TV.  When this happened before on my reular TV  (it is connected via a portal)  I changed to Chrome and it was better.  I am very computer illiterate so I just used the simple way of viewing on the smart TV.  I don't understand why it was OK before and this just started happening again.  Netflix is OK now (on smart) but not Acorn.  Forgive me for not inderstanding a lot of computer language and stuff.

Not a problem! These things can be tricky.

 

It sounds like you are using a web browser to access sites to watch videos rather than specific apps. That can cause audio issues like this. I suggest using apps instead of Chrome when possible.
