Just purchased 2 N-55F301NA22 TVs to use to show photos in an exhibit.

All photos are JPG

When we plug the USB device into the TV it says

"Unable to read USB Device"

"Your USB Device is using an unsupported file system.  TV can format the USB device to one of the two file systems. Note that all content on the USB device will be erased during formatting."

We have tried reformating both ways - and nothing happens and makes the USB device unusable.

The directions for the TV indicate that we should be able to plug the drive in and just show images.  Why isn't that working?

It sounds like you've been thorough in your troubleshooting. At this point, I recommend contacting Insignia Support at (877) 467-4289 for further assistance with playing a slideshow via USB on your new TVs.
