TV with black screen

Hi, I have a 50" Insignia Roku, model: NS-50DR710C.
The TV was working fine until suddenly became black. I can hear the beeping when I use the remote, but nothing on the screen.

I tried to unplugged and leave for a few minutes and plug back in, but no good.
I pushed the reset button on the side for 15sec but also nothing happened.

Is there anyone that can help me with that please?

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. Thanks so much for getting in touch with us about your television. It's always a pain when the screen on your television stops working.

 

If you take a flashlight close to the screen when it is powered on, can you see anything on the screen? 

 

In addition, can you let me know about how long ago you purchased that television?

Yes, I can see somethings when I turn it on.

And I bought it on April 2017.

Thanks for those details. That makes it sounds like a failed backlight. That would be a hardware issue that requires physical repair.

 

Please call Insignia support at (877) 467-4289 for some additional troubleshooting. They can help you confirm if it is a hardware issue, and go over repair options if needed.
