Comcast was here to fix the remote, but it's the TV that's sick. I have to turn it on and adjust the volume using the buttons on the back of the TV...all other functions work via the remote. We tried 3 different remotes, went through every one of the codes...it's the TV. Is there any way to reset the TV and "repair" the sensor? Thank you!

Greetings vdzack,
Welcome to our community! I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble getting a remote to work 100% with your TV. I understand how frustrating that could be to have to get it up and monkey with the buttons on the unit. We’d be happy to see what advice we can share with you.
Can you please share the model number of your TV? We’d be happy to see if there’s a factory reset pin hole on your unit. Also, most times there’s a way to get be factory reset within the settings. Have you also tried to power cycle your Tv? You’d be able to do this by unplugging your TV from all components plus power. Then a few minutes later plug it back in. It’s like clearing your cache & cookies in your browser, but for your TV. Sometimes the only remote that will work fully with a TV will be the manufacturer included in the box. This may be case too with your TV. We look forward to hearing from you to continue giving you advice!
