I have a 27" Insignia TV in my office.  It stays on 24/7.  Over the last 2 weeks, it's started changing channels every 3 hours, like clockwork.  It only changes to a certain channel.

I've covered the IR receiver with electrical tape.  I've reset to default settings.  I've deleted all channels except the one I want it to remain on.  It still changes.

Please help?  It's part of my job to monitor this channel, and the TV changing the channel is giving me false readings!

Thanks for reaching out to us about this, and for joining our community. I can see how that changing automatically could be frustrating. 

Can you try taking the batteries out of the remote control? I know you said you covered the IR port, but we want to be sure on this.

What source are you using for the video? Is this an antenna?

Please also get back to me with the TV's model if that remote test doesn't help.
