I just bought an Insignia 19" 720p LED HDTV. It was working well until this morning. It goes through a continuous cycle of turning on and off. When I plug in the power, the TV turns on and says "Please wait..." Then it shows a blank screen with a channel number in the upper right hand corner. Then it turns off and repeats. How do I fix this?

I would also like to know if the TV is connected to antenna or cable. If cable, is there a cable box? What channel is the TV on?

Thank you for providing the additional information. This will hopefully be a fairly simple fix. I want you to unplug the V and then disconnect the coax cable from the back of the TV. Plug the TV back in and go to the menu. Press the right arrow key to get to channels. In the Channels sub-menu, go to the Add/Skip Channels option and uncheck the 85.13 channel. Exit the menu and make sure to change the channel off of 85.13 before you reconnect the coax. Be aware that other channels in the same range might also cause this to happen and may need to be deleted in the same way. If you have any firther issues with the TV, please let us know.

We have the same issue - the TV just turns on and off and is stuck on one channel and this has happened more than once. I follwed the instructions listed which does resolve the immediate issue of the TV turning off and on - however, this is a channel that my son frequently wants to watch (EPSN HD) so removing the channel is just a work around, not a permanent solution - are there any other options to completely resolve this issue? Thanks.

Welcome to Community@ Insignia™!
There is nothing we can do currently. If I can get some information from you, I'll pass it on the engineers to see if there is a way to fix it. Who is you cable company? What city and state are you in? What is the actual number of the channel causing the issue? It's just the regular ESPN channel causing this to happen?

The TV is a 32" TV - we just went through the steps defined again... and the same thing happened. It seems to happen when he is on one of the high def channels, this time is was 133.2. Our cable company is Service Electric, we are in Phillipsburg, NJ. Any info would be appreciated. We bought the TV for christmas, 2012 so we have only had it for 14 months, but it is now past the warranty.

I have a NS-32D20SNA14 TV that comes on by itself with a digital ? #of 42405 stays on for about 2 minutes and than switches off. I keeps doing this and I've tried everything to fix it but nothing has worked. The TV is hooked up to Verizon Fios
and I've in Crofton, MD. It was a 2013 Christmas for my husband. Once or twice I was able to change the # to a ) but that doesn't do anything different. HELP please.

I have a 32" Model NS-LCD32-09. It cycles on and off every few seconds. I have depowered tv and disconnected the coax for extended lengths of time. There is no cable box. Supplier is Cox, Hampton Roads, VA, Basic selection of channels. Happens on all channels. Apple TV box connected.
Disconnected Apple TV on HDMI 1. Rebooted Apple box. Reconnected Apple box & coax. Working now. Could Apple TV be the culprit? Isolating Apple box and rebooting it seemed to fix.
