I recently purchesed the Insignia NS-48D510NA15 48" and connected my sound system too it via the Digital Optical Audio port. The sound system can do 7.1 surround sound. However when I connect my Xbox One to the TV via the HDMI 2 port the Xbox says the tv does not support surround sound and switches it back to sterio. How do I enable surround sound on the TV?
Within the TV menu, under the Audio settings, you should see a setting for Digital Audio/SPDIF. You will want that set to RAW, so that it will pass the audio through to your Sound System.
