I have an Insignia Fire TV and had reset the TV to factory settings. Model is: NS-55DF710NA19. The original remote stopped working so I bought a 3rd party remote but the TV does not recognize it after selecting the language. I bought a new fire tv remote but it will not recognize it either. I've unplugged the TV and removed the batteries from both remotes and held the home button on each and neither one gets recognized.

I realized i bought the fire tv stick remote and not the one for the actual TV. Unfortunate. No need to reply to this post.

I also went on Amazon where Best Buy is apparently selling there too. Questions and Answers features show that it works for Insignia TV's. It also has a high rating on the Best Buy website under the reviews.
