I bought a 70" Insignia F30 tv (Model:NS-70DF710NA21) in July. At first it was great. Then after about 4 months the remote needed new batteries. No problem, I changed them. Those lasted about a month. The next set lasted about 3 weeks, then two weeks and now the batteries have to be replaced about every two to three days. Of course this gets stupid expensive so I bought rechargable batteries but I am having the same issue where they only last 2-3 days before needing to be recharged. I have tried calling customer service several times but am either on hold for 20 minutes or more or I get disconnected as soon as the rep answers.

Hello, sportscars,
Thank you for posting!
I appreciate you taking the time to write us regarding your Insignia Smart Fire TV. I did some digging regarding Fire TV remotes, and most say resetting the remote should help this. You can try holding down the left side of the Ring Circle button, along with the Return Key button, and the button with the three lines on the right. Hold them at the same time for about 30 seconds. Then reboot your TV after.
If this does not work, I recommend reaching out to Insignia directly at (877) 467-4289 for further assistance. Thanks again for reaching out to us!
Regards,
