Hello Sam,
We have a similar problem. We just purchased an Insignia Fire TV Model # NS-32DF310NA19. We do not have an ethernet cable connected since we don't have cable TV service. We have no problem connecting to wifi. However, the internet connected seems to keep going on and off. Is the problem with the TV, internet service, or router?
Thank you, Corinne

Hi there, Corinne!
Welcome to our community. My understanding is that most routers and modems should have at least one ethernet port on them. I don’t have cable TV in my home, but I have several devices hardwired into the internet through ethernet.
As regards your Wi-Fi connectivity issues, it’s hard to say where the issue lies without seeing your setup with my own eyes. How many devices are connected to your Wi-Fi network at the same time? Are you using a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless frequency to connect your TV to the internet? Does your TV pause to buffer the content you’re streaming, or does it disconnect from the internet altogether?
