What is the correct (or recommended) setting for the LED backlight on flat-panel TVs? I have an Insignia 32D220NA18 32" TV, with the LED backlight brightness presently set at approximately 10. How much higher can or should I set this so that I get sufficient brightness on my TV screen, consistent with maximum life of the LED backlight? I read somewhere (don't recall where) recently that the backlight brightness can be set up to 75%, but that seems awfully high. I don't want to shorten the life of the LED backlight in my set any more than necessary. Also, does the brightness setting have anything to do with the backlight, or is it a separate adjustment altogether?
Thanks much.

Hi, Jeff,
Thank you for reaching out about this. That's a good question.
There is no documentation available about how the brightness level impacts the lifespan of an LED. Please reach out to Insignia support at (877) 467-4289 to discuss this further. The team there will be best positioned to advise you on this.
Sincerely,
