I just bought a new Insignia 50" F30 and connected my PC to it and the option to display at 4K 60Hz isn't available. It will only let me display at 4K 30Hz or lower resolutions at 60Hz. I'm replacing a TCL 4K 60Hz that I had this same PC connected to with the same HDMI cable and it ran at 4K 60Hz. I've updated my graphics drivers to no avail. Any ideas?

This is a strange one indeed. I have one laptop I use in the bedroom to connect to the TV and unless I don't replicate the screens like they do in Powerpoint presentations, it does not display the proper resolution to the TV.
Unfortunately not all televisions and ports are equal and even the detection mechanisms are off between hardware. I believe there is a way to force that mode but if Windows reports it can't display at that resolution then the TV has some kind of limitation.
Just a question, is there any kind of firmware update for your television? I remember back in the day with Dynex, and their televisions you could update the TV via the USB port. I wonder if this holds true today with newer televisions.

Welcome to our community, CaptainZelnick.
Generally speaking, your new TV should display the signal it receives from your computer.
However, given what you've described, I recommend contacting Insignia Support at (877) 467-4289 for assistance troubleshooting your TV and computer setup.
I hope this helps. Thank you for writing to us.
