NS-LTDVD32-09 no sound

I have searched the forum and seen that others have had this issue as well.There is absolutely no sound coming from the TV (which is only used to stream content through an Apple TV). I want to reset the TV, but cannot, for the life of me, determine which button acts as “enter.” It’s not Input or Menu, which have been previously suggested to others. The remote is long gone, as it was lost in a move.

I have held the power button, I have ensured all the cords are plugged in and good quality, checked that no dirt or dust in blocking anything, and even connected it to a sound bar (only works if I airplay content from another device).

If you haven't already done so, try power-cycling the TV by turning it off and unplugging it for several minutes. This should serve to reset the TV hardware.


If the problem persists, and given the audio and menu access issues you've described, I recommend contacting Insignia Support at (877) 467-4289 for assistance troubleshooting your TV in real time. They may have options for purchasing a replacement remote control as well.
