NS-39D310NA19 Way to remove button lock prompt?

I turned on button lock on purpose because the buttons seem to press themselves, I never use the buttons on the side of my TV as I have my remote as well as my Xbox, which can function as a remote. However, every time the TV senses an input it gives me a prompt to let me know that button lock is turned on. I’m aware, I did it on purpose. Is there a way to get rid of this?

Hi, dinosauringg,

Welcome to our community. Thanks for your questions. I can understand how having that prompt pop up every time could be annoying, since you already know it is on.

There is no way to turn that notification off, however. You can give Insignia Support a call at (877) 467-4289 to verify if there is a workaround, though from what I'm seeing there is not.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
