Motion Smoothing/Processing on Insignia TV

I have a new Insignia TV, and it had three Motion Processing choices: Standard, Smooth, or Enhanced. Does anyone know the difference between these settings?

Re: Motion Smoothing/Processing on Insignia TV

Hello, dblundy,

I was able to find information on the motion processes as follows:

"Motion smoothing is a video-processing feature on most TVs, which injects frames in between the frames of a video signal to make the motion look less jerky. These frames are interpolated, calculating halfway points and processing the picture to keep the video even and consistent."- PC Mag

We do offer services like professional TV calibration available if you would like to have a Geek Squad Agent come out to assist with any professional setup you would like. Please Private Message your name, email and phone number if you have any other questions or concerns.
