I had my TV working fine on cable. I havenot disconnected cable. I have scanned for channels but get no signal at all. The signal in the house is strong. I have tried connecting to RCA flat digital antenna also, used roof antenna.

Is this TV ready for digital? But should I not be getting at least some signal? I get nothing.

I choose VGa and RF from menu and do the scans. What am I doing wrong?

"HD Ready" in this case means that the TV is capable of displaying HD quality output, but this model does not include a digital tuner for off-the-air broadcasts.  In order to receive your local digital channels you'll need a converter box.
