sounds like an issue with the motherboard. I would call Geek Squad for service if you have the servcie plan. Or if it is under year contact Insignia directly for warrenty service.

If you haven't already done so, try power-cycling the TV by turning it off and unplugging it for several minutes. This should serve to reset the TV hardware.
If the problem persists afterward, bobberuchi offers sound advice. I recommend you begin by contacting Insignia Support at (877) 467-4289 for as they may be able to provide assistance with more advanced troubleshooting of your TV.
