This is model NS-42F201NA22
In display settings there is no calibrate option. I get to choose between Full, where there is overscan with no way to correct, Wide 1 2 and 3, which don't fit at all, and Native, which comes close, but has thin bars on the left and right.
Again, there is no calibrate option (I repeat this because I've been back and forth with insignia support and they tell me to use this non-existant option).
I've been through all the settings, but maybe some combination I haven't tried is the key. Or maybe there's some firmware update (I won't do it unless confirmed though).
However, if there's nothing like that, I should at least get to look around in the service menu, if such a thing exists for this TV.
Thanks for any help.

Good morning, tvguy1279.
Thank you for reaching out to us here on our forums. Calibration settings can be a very tricky thing at times. I see that you are trying to have the picture take up the full screen, is that correct? Would you mind trying the following:
1.Press and hold the "Home" button on the remote until a menu appears.
2.Choose "Display-Picture Size." If this setting is grayed out, set "Auto-Aspect" to "Off"
3. Try changing the aspect ratio to different settings until you get one that displays a full screen properly.
You may also want to try and consider a professional service, like Geek Squad to do a calibration for you. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/services/geek-squad/pcmcat138100050018.c?id=pcmcat138100050018&CMP=ocss

I have done all the settings, and I listed them in my original post, which I assume you read.
Does someone at BB possibly have this model handy so they can see what I mean, just plug in any PC 1080p source and look at the left and right edges. I have 2 of these TVs and they do the same thing.

While we do not have these models here handy to be able to trouble shoot, I would visit BestBuy.com/storelocator, find your store and click on the Store Details link. Select the Email Us link and share your feedback and request a call back to address your issue. This email will be sent to our store management team and will contact you back regarding your concerns.
Or as mentioned previously, I would recommend reaching out to Geek Squad to see if they can help assist in a calibration or may know of a way to help adjust. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/services/geek-squad/pcmcat138100050018.c?id=pcmcat138100050018&CMP=ocss
