Hello - I have an older insignia TV and the sound just completely stopped working - the picture quality is great but I have no sound - I hooked up small speakers to the TV and it worked temporarily but now it doesn't - my question is if I can buy a better set of speakers or one of those new surround sound speakers and maybe it will work?? I hate to throw it out so I'd like to explore all of my options - please let me know -

If you haven't already done so, try power-cycling the TV by turning it off and unplugging it for several minutes. This should serve to reset the TV hardware.
If the problem persists, I recommend contacting Insignia Support at (877) 467-4289 for assistance troubleshooting your TV. They should be able to address your questions regarding whether and which home audio system will work with your TV or have other options for you.
