Getting a new TV should be a happy moment and not a frustrating one. I'd disappointed to find that my remote was unable to pair with my TV. I'd be happy to look into this further and see what options are available. To get started, send a private message that includes the following:

So, after two weeks, I asked about the replacement remote they said they would send.  The case was turned over to a new representative who asked for the serial number again.  I sent the serial number to them 2 days ago but still have not heard anything about the replacement remote.

Once i was the issue with my TV remote the i was doing this :When your Insignia TV remote is not working, take the batteries out of it for 2-3 minutes and see if that fixes it. If not, you should reset your TV to re-establish the connection. And, of course, you should always check and to make sure the batteries are still good.

Received the replacement remote today.  Fixed it right up.  All good now.

I misplaced the remote after unpacking the TV. It has never been used. I contacted Best Buy and purchased a replacement. However, it will not get past the "searching for remote" message. pLEASE ADVISE. tOM

SO I PURCHASED THIS  55 INCH NON BRAND NAME TV FROM BEST BUY FOR $285.00 SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THEN I WAS GOING TO HAVE ISSUES.. I HAD TO DRIVE ALMOST AN HOUR TO GET THE THING.. GET TO THE STORE THE TWO YOUNG BLACK GUYS AT FRONT ACTED LIKE THEY WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL INSTEAD OF ASSISTING CUSTOMERS AS HE TOLD ME TO BRING MY CAR TO THE FRONT OF THE STORE, I DID AS HE INSTRUCTED AND HE JUST PUT MY PURCHASE OUTSIDE THE DOOR AND LEFT IT THERE FOR ANYONE TO TAKE.. SO NOW I AM NOT HAPPY.. BUT I LEAVE THE STORE.. I BRING MY NEW TV ALL THE HOME AND LOW AND BEHOLD A PROBLEM. SEEMS LIKE THE REMOTE DOESNT PAIR WITH THE TV. AFTER ME AND MY LOVELY WIFE ATTEMPTED TO WORK ON THIS FOR OVER AN HOUR, I RELUCTANLY CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE.  I BET MY WIFE I WOULD GET SOMEONE WHO DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH. I WAS 100% RIGHT.. I COULDNT UNDERSTAND A WORD HE WAS SAYING.. HE BASICALLY TRIED TO TELL ME EVERY STEP I ALREADY DID LIKE 10 TIMES AND IT STILL DIDNT WORK.. THEN HE TOLD ME TO TAKE BACK THE 55 INCH TV TO THE BEST BUY AND GET A ANOTHER. ONE. OVER A REMOTE THAT DOESNT WORK?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? HE SUGGESTED THE DUMBEST THING I EVER HEARD. I AM SO DISPLEASED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BOTH AT THE STORE AND OVER THE PHONE, I HAVE A 55 INCH BRAND NEW TV IN MY LIVING ROOM THAT I CAN EVEN WATCH.. I ALREADY THREW THAT GOD FORSAKING BOX AWAY CAUSE IT WAS NOT SITTING MY LIVING ROOM. IF I HAVE TO TAKE TI BACK I WILL WITHOUT THE BOX AND I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM BEST BUY AGAIN.

Welcome to our forums! Getting a new tv is exciting, but not if you can't use the remote, so I can understand your frustration.

I’ll be happy to take a closer look into this matter and offer any additional assistance I can, however, I’m hoping you can provide me with a few pieces of additional information before I’m able to do so.  If you could use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me:
