Please remember: the only remote control Insignia guarantees to work with your TV is the one that came with it in box.

My new Insignia TV model isn't listed on the Insignia models available for pairing to my DirecTV remote. Is there another model code I can use to pair it?

Congrats on your new TV! Have you tried the codes listed in the first post on this thread for DirecTV remotes? If you're still having trouble after reviewing the first post in this thread, please reply with your DirecTV remote control model number so I can research this further.

The remote model is RF4CE. I did read the original post and was not able to find the info I needed. Thanks!

I believe RF4CE is actually the protocol for RF communication between remote and receiver and not your remote model number. I would encourage you to review the the first post in this thread for the most common codes for DirecTV universal remotes. If you aren't sure how to program your remote, please contact DirecTV.

Thanks for responding. I agree contacting Directv is the way to go.

After chatting with Directv, my remote model is RC73 and Directv is going to be replacing it as it will not program/pair with my insignia.

Purchased a Insignia Fire TV edition, is it possible to have my cable company remote to control the tv when I turn it on rather than the fire tv remote

You should be able to program almost any universal remote control to use with your Insignia Fire TV Edition TV.

You can find codes for many remotes in the first post of this thread.

If needed, for instructions to complete the programming, please contact your cable service provider.
