Insignia Roku TV keeps turning off

I purchased a 39" Insignia Roku TV about 4 months ago and while watching Netflix or Hulu Live TV (I don't have regular cable) the TV just randomly restarts.

A few days ago I noticed there was a software update so I performed it and its still restarting. Its getting pretty annoying as it happens less than every hour.  Is this a known issue?

Re: Insignia Roku TV keeps turning off

Greetings, flexfanatic –

Thank you so much for your patience as you had waited for our reply! We really do appreciate it. If the same issue would occur with my TV, it would drive me crazy. I’d be happy to offer some troubleshooting advice for you.

Can you please try to power cycle your TV? Have you attempted to reset your TV back to factory settings? It sounds like an issue might’ve occurred upon downloading that recent firmware from Roku. We look forward to your reply to learn more about this issue.

Respectfully,

Re: Insignia Roku TV keeps turning off

I am experiencing this too, may be correlated to recent firmware update. Its 2 months out of warranty and has never done this before. Ive read lots of posts about this issue as far back as 2015. Whats going on Insignia and how to resolve?

Re: Insignia Roku TV keeps turning off

Hello @Bus933s,

A firmware update can often cause a number of glitches but they are easy to fix. Please attempt the steps layed out by Mariah-BBY from the previous post (power cycling and/or a factory reset). If not resolved you can contact Insignia Support directly at 1-877-467-4289 for real-time troubleshooting. I hope this helps get your system up and running smoothly as before. Take care!
