Insignia Roku TV NS-50DR620NA18 remote NOT working

Purchased the Insignia Roku TV NS-50DR620NA18 in June, 2018. Connected to Directv and computer WiFi. The remote control has gone rogue! Occasionally, the remote will turn on the TV but doesn’t work long enough to scroll to any of the HDMI connections! I’ve changed batteries, unplugged tv and nothing seems to work! Any ideas would be appreciated.
We haven’t even had the tv 2 months and without a remote the tv is worthless. Please advise...
Thanks!

Re: Insignia Roku TV NS-50DR620NA18 remote NOT working

I'm having the exact same issue with mine. Same model, same exact issue.  The remote just suddenly stopped working.  Can do very few tasks but can't consistently press buttons.  Replaced batteries, reset the remove (multiple button pushes on a flat surface), power cycling the TV...nothing worked.  I was able to download the Roku app on my phone and can control it that way, but what a pain.

Looks like Insignia is not replying to this post.  Smiley Sad

Re: Insignia Roku TV NS-50DR620NA18 remote NOT working

Hello Bbay2018,

Welcome to our community! I apologize for our extremely delayed response. Your post was misplaced in our merge to this community. We’re always happy to see what advice or troubleshooting assistance we can provide over this medium.

We'd be happy to see what advice we can share at this time. Can you please ensure that the remote control sensor on your TV and remote aren’t blocked in some way? Also, is your entertainment center made of glass or have glass items on it? Sometimes glass can refract the IR signal from the remote causing it to not communicate with your TV properly. Have you attempted to reprogram your remote to your TV? You may need to resync it to your TV.

I look forward to hearing if you’re still having this issue, and if you aren’t what you did for troubleshooting.

Respectfully,
