Thank you for question! Using the voice features can certainly be easier when searching for a specific title. I’m sorry to hear that your TV may not be responding as it should be to the remote application on your phone.
Have you checked out Roku’s “How to Guide”? You’re welcome find it here. Your TV should work with the voice commands. I highly recommend uninstalling the ROKU app on your smart device, and reinstalling it if you continue to have issues. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
