Insignia NS-55DF710NA19 Sound problems

I purchased an Insignia NS-55DF710NA19 on Sunday. The sound seems marginal..... But randomly the sound kicks in FULL for just a few seconds and then back to the way it was..... But scares the heck out of me when all of a sudden the sound is so loud!

What's up with this? Do I need to return it as defective? It is wall mounted, not on a stand..... So not a simple rebox and return.

If you haven't already done so, please try power-cycling the TV by turning it off and unplugging it for several minutes. This should serve to reset the TV hardware.


If the problem persists, your TV will likely need repairs. Given that your purchase was very recent, I would recommend returning the TV for an exchange. Please visit Returns & Exchanges for more information about our Return & Exchange Promise, including extended Holiday returns.
