Insignia LCD NS-46L240A13 - Please Wait Mode

Hello -  My LCD TV (46L240A13) can't get passed the "Please Wait Mode".  It displays that message then shuts off.  It repeats this process over and over.  Every 5 seconds the message is redisplayed.  I replaced the power supply and the Back light inverter board with no change.  I've requested the schematics from Best Buy but they will not provide them.    Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

I admire your DIY enthusiasm in trying to restore your TV's functionality! I am all thumbs when it comes to such things.

 

While it's true that we would not be able to share schematics for the TV, repair options may still be available to you. As this TV is 8-9 years old, repairs would be at your expense.

 

For available repair options and/or additional troubleshooting, I recommend contacting Insignia Support at (877) 467-4289.

Thank you for your reply - I contacted them prior to this post and they suggested I pring it in for service. As you noted, the TV is a few years old, its cheaper to purchase another TV.  What confuses me is that all other products I DYI - I have no issues getting data, but when it comes to TV's, I'm in the dark.  Strange.
