Welcome to Best Buy Forums. I've located some resources to try to assist you with the issue you are having with the Fire TV remote.
Here is a support page directly from Insignia regarding this model number. It's possible that you may need to program the remote with the appropriate code. A helpful guide for this can be found here.
If you are still unable to resolve the issue using the resources above, I would suggest reaching out to the Manufacturer (Insignia) directly.
