Hello I recently purchased a NS-24DF310NA21 Fire TV. I tried to set it up and the remote works to turn on and select English as my language, but when it asks me to push the home button to pair, it doesn't do anything. I tried replacing the batteries, resetting the remote and unplugging the TV. None of that worked so I bought a replacement remote and that didn't work to setup either. It had the same problems as the original. That makes me think the TV might be broken. I tried to use a remote app but I couldn't set it up. Is there anything else I could try?

Welcome to Best Buy Forums. I've located some resources to try to assist you with the issue you are having with the Fire TV remote.

Here is a support page directly from Insignia regarding this model number. It's possible that you may need to program the remote with the appropriate code. A helpful guide for this can be found here.

If you are still unable to resolve the issue using the resources above, I would suggest reaching out to the Manufacturer (Insignia) directly.
