Hello,

I have an Insigia Fire TV F50 series and would like to set up live TV pausing. I previously had an Insigia Roku TV, and it allowed me to plug a 32 gb USB flash drive into the TV to set up live TV pausing with my OTA antenna. I am wanting to do the same thing with my Fire TV, but cannot find the setting to set up the live TV pausing. It will currently let me pause/rewind/fast forward live antenna TV for up to two minutes. I have the 32 gb USB flash drive plugged in, but it is not giving me the option to set it up for live TV pausing, and I can't find it on the settings menu. Help please?

Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Forums page regarding your attempts to get your new TV to function the way you want it to. From what I can, this feature may be specific to Roku devices. At this time, have you made any progress in getting this feature to work on your Fire TV?

Hi,
I have not, but I’m trying a few things. I’m using the formatted USB drive from my Roku, and I remember it saying when I formatted it that it couldn’t be used for anything else. So I am going to try to buy a new flash drive and see. My fire TV would be even recognize this flash drive as an external source of storage when I navigated there in settings.
