Yup just checked. The geek squad guy installed a NS-55DF710NA19 in my 58in. But so far it’s been working good, but like you said hope there won’t be any long term issues.
Crazy though, kinda scared to buy stuff on Black Friday now.

You have to call Insignia or Best Buy as this is widespread issue.

We bought our tv on Black Friday and today the sound stopped working. We can see the video but no sound. I went to the settings and the speakrs say off. It will not let me change it. I have power cycled the tv as well as factory reset it and it still does not work.  The TV was fine all day until about and hour ago then it went out.

I am also having this issue.  I've read the thread and am confused.  Was there a solution? I am not tech savvy and Best Buy isn't really helping as I did not purchase the extra warranty.  Bought this TV end of November 2019.  Very frustrating...

Update on my case. There was a Geek squad technician who came to my house last week Tuesday. And they ordered a new sound and/or motherboard. Last Saturday Best Buy called me and told me that the part needed was no longer being made and that they will be back at my house on Tuesday. Which happened. I am waiting for a follow up call on my situation.

Gkoolman I bet they are out of boards. They burnt through the original 58 inch boards ASAP and now they have gone through all the 55 inch ones. So they are down boards and with the Wuhan virus I'm sure it will be a while till they have more. They changed mine with a 55 inch one (I have a 58 inch) but so far it has not come back. My cousin has a 58 inch too and has the issue but he refused to do anything as he thinks they will fix it soon. I don't think they will as they aren't even recognizing that it's a software issue. This is crap, what is going on with their software dev team? Why haven't they pushed an update to the Fire OS 6.2.6.9 (NS6269/2372) which started this while ordeal?! Insignia, what is going on?! This is crazy as the new TVs are going to have THE SAME ISSUE! And I thought they might simply say we'll give you your money back but many of us got ours on Black Friday for cheap and what good is the money back going to be when it won't buy anything that can compare. I still can't believe they haven't tried to fix this very simple software issue but instead they have used their whole inventory of replacement boards?!

My guess is it goes beyond software. I'm sure they exhausted that option since exchanging and refunds will be a way bigger logisitcal headache for them. It's likely a hardware problem that they've decided isn't worth it for them since they sold these for $200. They used up the remaining stock of leftover parts (which will probably go bad) and they don't want to pay to make new ones since these were likely already sold at a loss.
