I have an NS-55L780A12, 55" Insignia TV, and frequently, when turning it on the first time each day, the screen will come on and about 10 seconds later turn off again. It does this for a couple of minutes and finally stays on. This happens no matter what source I'm using.

Any ideas? It's done this for several years and I never found an answer online, so I'm resigned to posting a question. I'm that lazy.

As regards your TV, if you haven't already, try power-cycling the TV by turning it off and unplugging it for several minutes. This should serve to reset the TV hardware.
