Good afternoon,

I just bought a 55 inch Insignia LED tv and I have a few questions on its features.

1) How do I adjust the backlight settings?

2) When watching a movie or tv, I find that the tv dims and brightens by itself. Not to sure if its a power saving feature but wanted to disable that option.

In this case, you will be able to adjust the Brightness and Contrast on the TV to get a brighter or darker image, but the LED cannot be changed to adjust the intensity of the light being emitted. My advise is to create a Custom mode you can use when watching TV in a dark room. Regarding the TV automatically adjusting brightness, you will need to turn off the Adaptive Contrast feature, you will find it at the Picture-Advanced Video Menu.
