Thanks for confirming that for me.

That TV should be able to upscale content between 480p and 1080p without issue. Of course, the higher resolution the source, the better the picture will look. No upscaling is going to make a DVD, or SD television, look super sharp on a display of this resolution and size, but it will absolutely be watchable. A HD stream like Netflix should look very good.

So far I'm loving the TV. After having Samsung's, and LG's in the past, I'm not noticing any difference in quality.
