my insignia 32E320A13 works well and all HDMI ports work. But for the first time I tried to hook up my Toshiba laptop to one of the ports and got a 'NO SIGNAL' message. I have a 2nd Insignia 29" TV that works fine this way so I know that my HDMI cable and hsetup is correct. AND the same thing happens with my wifes MacAir. It works fine with the 29" TV but not the 32" one [I get the same 'NO SIGNAL" message]. What could cause this odd situation?

Hello, Jackpath,
Welcome to the Best Buy Forums! We appreciate you reaching out and bringing this to our attention. I would love to assist and see what's possible. Have you looked into the port to see if there's any dust or anything that could be blocking the cable to be fully connected? If not, it sound's like it could be a faulty HDMI port. We could take a look at some options depending on when the TV was purchased.
Kind regards,

I know this is complex, so I'm going to try to explain it in a bit more detail.
My Toshiba works fine when I export via the HDMI to our 29" Insignia TV so I do not think it is either theHDMI port nor the cable I'm using. But when I try to dothe same thing [using the same computer and cable] to the 32" TV I get a "NO SIGNAL" message on the TV screen. But when I use the same cable and HDMI port on the TV to play my Roku it works fine. Something is blocking the signal from my Toshiba laptop from reaching the 32" TV, but not the 29" TV. AND to make it clearer, exactly the same situation exists when we try to export from my wifes MacbookAir. Using the same cable it will export to the 29" TV, but not to the 32" TV. Somehow the 32" TV will not accept the signal from either of our laptops even though the 29" TV will. What could that be when he same HDMI channel on the 32" TV will accept the Roku signal fine? I'm baffled.

It sounds like you have attempted multiple solutions. If you'd like an appointment can be created for our Geek Squad to diagnose. When did you purchase this TV?

We purchased the 32" tv in 2017.

Thanks for the response. Was a Geek Squad Protection Plan purchased with the TV? if so, you can bring it into any local Best Buy for service. If no protection plan was added you can still bring the TV in for service and our Geek Squad agents will go over solutions. Please let me know if there's anything else I can assist with.
Thank you,

I did not get such a plan and the closest BB is 1.5 hours away and nay way the TV ismounted in a cabinet that would take me a long time to disassemble. Oh well!
