Hi, MarkTocheri,
Thanks for following up.
That (877) 467-4289 number is for Insignia support both in the United States and Canada. I'm sorry you were not transferred properly.
Please call (800) GEEKSQUAD or (800) 433-5778, since it seems that it was determined that your television needs repair. Let them know you are in Canada and that Insignia referred you for a repair. I'm hopeful that will get you tot he right folks for support.
Sincerely,

My posts have been removed by BB . Truth hurts I guess . I bought an Insigna , did the phone merry go round , then exchanged for an LG . PROBLEM SOLVED .

Hi all. I finally got things sorted out. I explained my Insignia issue with Customer Service at my local BestBuy. The rep was very understanding and approved the exchange. I am now the proud owner of an LG 43UM7300 as well. So far, it is an excellent TV; superior to the Insignia. Well worth the extra cost.
Thanks again for everyone's help!
