I'm a Best Buy employee and am looking to spend around $500 on a TV. I don't want to spend too much more than that because I will likely be upgrading in 3-4 years but am open to suggestions. Some 55" models I'm considering are the TCL 6 Series, Samsung RU7100, Vizio E55-F1, and LG 55UM7300. I would even consider the Vizio P55-F1 that is in the $700 range as that supposedly has a significantly higher picture quality than the other models I listed with the exception of maybe the TCL set. I'm leaning towards the TCL but am concerned about getting a set that has screen banding and some people say the screen is too glossy. I don't want to go any bigger than 55".
