Video often lags audio by over 1 second, especiallhy on apps like Netflix or Acorn TV. Many internet posts recommend adjusting the setting AV Sync Adjust under Sound Settings. However, some LG Insignia TVs, for example the 32" 720 model NS-32DF310NA19, do not have this setting -- the Sound Settings entry under Setting is blanked out.
I fixed this problem by doing a power cycle or soft reboot. Unplug the TV and hold the power button on for 30 seconds. Then reconnect and restart, and the system will reboot. This is not a reset -- no settings are lost.
