Antenna Channel scan problem

Have a new Insignia 50". I attached an antenna to coax input. Selected the scan for channels. Says it finds 42 channels, but when I go back to home tab, whenever I select "antenna" I have to scan for channels again. Every time.

Is there a reason it is finding 42 channels, but when I try to watch it asks me to scan again, every time? What am I missing?

Re: Antenna Channel scan problem

Hi, stonemountainfr,

Thanks for joining our community. I'd be happy to see if I can help find a solution for you so you don't have to keep scanning for channels.

First, I'll need the model number of that television. If you can provide that, I'll see what advice I can give you.

Re: Antenna Channel scan problem

Hi, stonemountainfr,

Thanks very much for confirming that.

Just to confirm, to scan are you selecting Settings > Live TV > Channel Scan? If so, your next step should be to call Insignia support at (877) 467-4289 to see if any additional troubleshooting is possible.
