I have installed my Insignia FireTV Edition TV.
Do I need to have an Alexa device (beside the insignia Firsts edition) to use the voice control?
This part is unclear.
I hesitate to proceed down the "Full" system path setup, without knowing if I am alson being set up with an additional memebership and associated fees.

I have hard-wire connected the Insignia FireTVto my house hold network.
But cant seem to get it to connect to the internet.
I believe that I have tried all of the onboard connection options, but with no success.
Typically devices that are connected via hard wire, automatically connect. This device ( Insignia FireTV) does not seem to do this.
Can you please help

Welcome to the forum. I own an Insignia Roku TV which is pretty similar to the Insignia Fire TV, and I absolutely love it; I hope you'll love yours, too!
Your Insignia Fire TV comes with a voice-enabled remote, so you shouldn't need to purchase anything extra in order to control your TV with your voice. As regards your connection issues, my understanding is the same as yours that devices which are connected to the internet via ethernet should connect automatically. If you haven't already, I'd suggest trying to connect your TV using the same network that your ethernet uses, but connect your TV via Wi-Fi instead.
I hope this helps, but if you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm happy to help however I can.
