55” Insignia TV, no picture, sound ok

Turned on the TV this AM and had sound but picture is not visible. Followed all the suggestions about cycling the TV, powered down, unplugged, changed the HDMI cable and input, nothing works. Realized you can see image with bright light shined on the screen but very faint. What can we do that does not require a huge expense? Is this fixable.

Since you have tried the troubleshooting we would normally recommend without success, I would suggest calling Geek Squad at 800-433-5778 to schedule a repair technician to visit your home.


If you did not purchase Geek Squad Protection and your TV is outside the one year factory warranty period, repairs should still be available, but at your expense.
