39" HD LED TV 720P - NS-39D310NA17

My tv powers on with the following message in the upper right hand corner.

HDMI1

480p  60Hz

Shouldn't it say 720P???  Please advise and thanks for your time.

Purchased Insignia 720P television...480p vs. 720p...please read my new message!!!

When I first turn on the TV, it reads in the upper right hand corner HDMI1 then below HDMI1 it reads 480p 60Hz no matter what channel I am viewing.  The picture quality is great for my needs.  My question is, should it read 720p 60Hz below HDMI1?  The labeling on the Comcast cable connected to the HDMI1 reads, "4K x 2K (2160p) Ultra-High Definition, 3D High Speed HDMI1 Cable with Ethernet E258105."

So, I guess my real questions are...is this the correct HDMI1 cable for this TV?   Should I be able to view the picture in 720p rather than 480p?  Do I need to get a different HDMI1 cable from Comcast?

Thanks to anyone who does respond.  I am new at this...
