24" Insignia TV no video

Got a 24" Insignia Fire TV Edition for Christmas and has been working fine up until this morning. Turned TV on and opened YouTube through Firefox, and all videos play as a green static. Sound is fine and the app itself is fine, only the video itself plays that way. The same problem exists with the Prime Video app, all HDMI inputs and all other apps that play video. Checked cable connection for HDMI, and no changes.
I'm not sure of the model number, and cannot check it on PC because it is set as my primary monitor.

Amazon Prime Video is also one of my favorite applications. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having some issues with your new 24” Insignia TV. We’d be happy to see what insight we can shed on this for you.


Can you please clarify how you’re using your TV? Are you using it as monitor or are you using it as a TV? Please note if you’re using it as a monitor you shouldn’t be able to use the internal operating system since your computer hard drive would be the brains of the unit in that situation. Also, you’re welcome to check the back of the TV and it would have the model number on it. We look forward to your reply to see how we can continue to help you troubleshoot this green screen you're getting.
