I JUST purchased a 43" 4K Toshiba, Fire Tv, I have it connected via HDMI 1 to my cable box, and I can't get a signal. I've tried the other two (2) HDMI inputs and I get the same message: NO INPUT. I take it I have to use the slower coax cable to get actual TV I pay through the nose for - I mean I can't get "Over the air" tv signals since the coax isn't connected.
I've powered the TV on and off.
Pulled the HDMI cable numerous times and plugged it back in
unplugged the TV
and STILL "NO INPUT after 2 hours of messing with it.
Kinda peeved right now. Oh, and the "instructions" only take about HDMI in terms of HOME THEATER.

Welcome to our community, Keliel.
it sounds like you've been thorough in your troubleshooting of the TV, so I might conclude that the cable box isn't sending a compatible signal to your Toshiba Fire TV. At this point, if you haven't already done so, I'd recommend contacting your cable service provider for assistance with connecting the box to the TV using the appropriate compatible signal output settings.
I hope this helps. Thank you for writing to us.

Keliel,
Thank you for the update. I'm happy to hear that it was only a slight oversight and not something more complex.
I hope you have a great weekend!
