Just got this 65" LG 65sk8000PUA,,,, awesome picure....accept. When somthing dark is on the screen...the backlights light up on the quadrant of the screen that has something light. Its really really annoying. I was watching sevaral movies with dark backgrounds so this is a constant flicker. But the best way to notice it was the load screen on spiderman via ps4. I have attached a picture. I know this is a new kind of led backlight, no edge lit like some others, but if this is how the NEW style is, I'm not intersted. I really don't want to take this set back, but this is unacceptable. picture looks great as long as its a bright picture. I also took a video but Im sure its too large to post.

Hello BerT6801,
Back lighting issues can certainly be an issue. I’m sorry to hear that you’re not pleased with your new 65” LG TV. I tend to watch darker movies too and this would also annoy me, too. We appreciate the time you’ve taken to post our community.
Have you reached out to LG to discuss if the amount you’re seeing is normal? I’d be unable to speak to whether it is or not for this particular model, through some quick research I wasn’t able to locate any other information on it.
Kindly,
